Fees are usually calculated by reference to the time spent in dealing with matters on your behalf. This includes the time spent in meetings, on telephone calls, dealing with your papers, drafting documentation, correspondence and travelling.

The hourly rate is £140 plus VAT.

However, if your employer has agreed to pay a fixed amount for your legal costs, if the matter is settled, our fees will not exceed the employer’s contribution unless agreed otherwise with you in advance.

You may find that you have a household insurance policy that includes legal expenses cover, provided you comply with the terms of the policy.
